Sprink leads Navy over St. Francis of New York, 85-83
NEW YORK (AP)—Greg Sprink scored 33 points, 21 in the second half, and Navy held off St. Francis of New York 85-83 Saturday night, extending the Terriers’ losing streak to six.
Kaleo Kina followed with 23 points for the Middies (5-8), who held a 40-34 lead at halftime.
Jamaal Womack led the Terriers (3-10) with 24 points. Kayode Ayeni had 14 points and 13 rebounds.
The scored was tied at 68 after a 3-pointer by Womack with 4:08 to go. Sprink had all eight points, including two 3-pointers, in an 8-0 run that made it 76-68 with 1:38 to go.
