Gransberry leads South Florida to 87-48 win over Winston-Salem

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) —Kentrell Gransberry had 21 points and 14 rebounds to lead South Florida past Winston-Salem 87-48 Saturday night.

Aaron Holmes scored 20 points and Adamu Saaka added 17 for South Florida (9-4), which has won nine of 10 games since opening the season with three consecutive losses.

Jamal Durham had 13 points and Darrell Wonge finished with 11 to pace Winston-Salem (4-7).

Holmes scored 17 in the second half, when the Bulls hit 61 percent from the field and outscored the Rams 55-27.

South Florida led 32-21 at halftime despite 35-percent shooting and 11 turnovers.

Winston-Salem State shot 29.5 overall and was outrebounded 53-31.
