Hill has 27 points as IUPUI beats Indiana-Southeast
INDIANAPOLIS (AP)—George Hill had 27 points and six rebounds and 11 Jaguars scored as IUPUI beat Indiana-Southeast 95-74 Sunday.
Hill was one of four players in double figures for IUPUI (9-2), which outscored the Grenadiers off the bench 42-31. LeRoy Nobles had 16 points, Jon Avery had 15, including 7 of 10 free throws, and Austin Montgomery 10 for the Jaguars, who led by as much as 26 during the second half.
IUPUI dominated inside, outrebounding Indiana-Southeast 34-24 and scoring 22 second-chance points. The Jaguars outscored the Grenadiers 40-18 in the paint and had 27 points off turnovers.
Craig Bryant scored 27 and had five assists for Indiana-Southeast (8-7). Jazzmarr Ferguson had 17 and Carlos Mitchell 12 for the Grenadiers, who shot 51.9 percent from the field compared with IUPUI’s 54.2 percent.
