CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP)—Nicchaeus Doaks scored 17 points as Chattanooga breezed to an 89-63 win Friday over Asbury.

Chattanooga (7-4) went on a 15-2 run capped by a layup by Khalil Hartwell at 9:30 to make it 28-11 and Asbury (9-4) never threatened thereafter.

Stephen McDowell had 12 points for Chattanooga and Verice Cloyd 11.

Asbury, ranked No. 25 in the NAIA Division II poll, was led by Brett Johnson with 22, Michael Spann with 12 and Matt Pittman with 11.

The Mocs led 48-25 at the half.

Asbury had 22 turnovers to 6 for the Mocs.
