Griffin’s 27 points leads Bucknell to 88-75 win over Cornell
LEWISBURG, Pa. (AP)—John Griffin scored 27 points to lead Bucknell to an 88-75 victory over Cornell on Wednesday.
Justin Castleberry added 18 points for Bucknell (4-5) while Josh Linthicum had 12 and Stephen Tyree grabbed 10 rebounds.
Collin Robinson scored 21 points for Cornell (4-3) and Louis Dale had 17, including a 12-for-12 performance from the free-throw line. Ryan Wittman scored 16 points and Jeff Foote had 10 points and 11 rebounds.
Griffin scored 13 points as Bucknell closed out the first half with a 22-10 run to take a 47-30 lead at the break. The Bison led throughout the second half by as much as 21 points. Bucknell hit eight 3-pointers in the first half and was 11-for-21 in 3-pointers for the game.
