Devine, Harris have 22 each in 79-52 Gauchos win over Ball St.

MUNCIE, Ind. (AP)—Chris Devine and Alex Harris scored 22 points each as UC Santa Barbara beat Ball State 79-52 Wednesday night.

The Gauchos, who led 35-20 at halftime, shot 77.8 percent from 3-point range after the break. UC Santa Barbara (10-1) shot 12-of-19 from beyond the arc for the game and 27-of-51 from the field overall.

The Gauchos shot 81.3 percent from the free-throw line to score 13 points.

Jordan Weiner had 12 points and Ivan Elliott 10 for UC Santa Barbara, which outrebounded Ball State 33-28. Justin Joyner had six assists.

Peyton Stovall scored 18 points for Ball State (0-10). Melvin Goins had 10 for the Cardinals, who managed just 37.5 percent shooting from the field.
