HEMPSTEAD N.Y. (AP)—Antoine Agudio had 30 points and 10 rebounds, and Hofstra rallied for a 70-68 victory over North Carolina Charlotte on Saturday.
Agudio hit all six of his 3-point attempts, helping Hofstra snap a four-game losing streak. He also had five assists.
Nathaniel Lester scored 14 points for the Pride (2-5), who trailed 33-25 at the half. Charles Jenkins added 10 points.
Leemire Goldwire hit eight 3-pointers and scored 26 points, but was the only double-figure scorer for the 49ers (6-3).
Charlotte led 40-27 with 18:28 in the second half on two free-throws by An’Juan Wilderness.
Hofstra took the lead for good, 66-65, on a 3-pointer by Lester with 2:19 remaining.
