LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP)—Arkansas-Little Rock opened the second half on a 32-3 run to pull away to an 73-36 over John Brown University on Saturday.

The Trojans (7-1) held a 23-21 lead at halftime.

John Brown (7-4) shot just 26 percent from the field—including 13 percent in the second half—and committed 27 turnovers in the loss. Arkansas-Little Rock scored 33 points off those turnovers.

Mike Smith scored 12 points and Steven Moore and John Fowler each had 11 to lead Arkansas-Little Rock. All three came in off the bench.

The Golden Eagles were led by Joel Tesis’ 10 points and seven rebounds.
