CORAOPOLIS, Pa. (AP)—Jordan Bitzer scored 18 points and Marko Spica had 17 to lead Central Michigan to a come-from-behind 83-72 victory over Robert Morris on Wednesday.
The loss to the Chippewas (2-5) ended an 11-game non-conference winning streak for Robert Morris (5-3).
The Colonials raced to a quick 9-0 lead and took a 29-17 edge on a 3-pointer by Gary Wallace with 8:19 left in the first half. But Central Michigan went on a 15-3 run, with five points from Marko Spica, to tie the game 32-32 with 3:38 left in the half and were ahead 38-36 at the break.
The Chippewas went on a 19-9 run in the second half to take a 69-51 lead, and Robert Morris got no closer than eight points after that.
