McLean leads Liberty to 69-47 win over Presbyterian
LYNCHBURG, Va. (AP)—Alex McLean had 25 points and nine rebounds to lead Liberty to a 69-47 win over first-year Division I Presbyterian on Tuesday night.
McLean, the Big South Conference player of the week, helped extend the Flames’ winning streak to three.
The Blue Hose trailed 35-17 at the half, taking their largest lead of two points early in the first.
Kyle Ohman and Anthony Smith each added 13 points for Liberty (5-4).
Al’lonzo Coleman had 18 points and nine rebounds and Bryan Bostic added 13 points for Presbyterian (1-9), which is moving from NCAA Division II to Division I.
