Lee has 21 in Robert Morris 88-61 win over Florida International
MIAMI (AP)—Tony Lee scored 21 points and Jimmy Langhurst added 19 on 7-for-7 shooting to lead Robert Morris past Florida International 88-61 on Thursday night.
The Colonials (4-2) shot 61 percent from the field and 71 percent from 3-point range.
Jeremy Chappell scored 17 points on 6-for-7 shooting for Robert Morris, which outscored FIU 51-36 after halftime—bolstered by an 8-for-10 performance from 3-point range. Langhurst scored 16 of his points after halftime and he and Chappell combined to shoot 10-for-10 in the final 20 minutes.
Kenneth White scored 18 points to lead the Golden Panthers (2-2). Alex Galindo added 13 points and Erick Nsangou scored 11 off the bench.
It was Robert Morris’ sixth straight road game to open the season.
