Moore helps Charleston hold off Fordham, 73-68
NEW YORK (AP)—Donavan Monroe scored 15 points, and Tony White and Andrew Goudelock each added 12 to help Charleston beat Fordham 73-68 on Saturday.
Marcus Stout had 19 points for Fordman, and Mike Moore added 17.
After Monroe’s three-point play gave the Cougars (2-3) a 66-53 advantage with 3:58 remaining, Fordham (2-3) reeled off 10 straight points to cut it to 66-63 with 1:09 to go. Stout led the surge with a pair of layups.
Charleston scored its final seven points from the foul line, two each by Monroe, Dunston Scott and Marcus Hammond, to seal the victory.
