Detroit grabs second straight win, beats Rochester, Mich. 67-51
DETROIT (AP)—Chris Hayes matched his career-high 16 points and Jon Goode added 15 Saturday to lead Detroit to its second straight victory, a 67-51 decision over Rochester (Mich.) College.
The Titans started the second half on a 10-3 run to shake the Warriors, who lost their second straight. Rochester committed 23 turnovers, 16 of which were the result of Detroit steals.
Reserve Josh Samarco added 13 points for Detroit (3-2), which also got a career-best nine assists from Zach Everingham.
Odai Baylor had 23 points for the Warriors (6-4), who trailed 32-30 at intermission despite 13 first-half turnovers.
