Christmas scores 20 in Temple’s 72-55 win over Bowling Green

BOLWING GREEN, Ohio (AP)—Dionte Christmas 20 scored points to lead Temple to a 72-55 win over Bowling Green on Saturday.

Tied 31-31 at halftime, Temple (2-3) went on an 18-4 run early in the second half to pull away, snapping the Falcon’s three-game winning streak.

The Owls shot 68 percent from the field in the second half, and 53 percent (21 of 51) overall. Mark Tyndale scored 19 and Lavoy Allen added 10 for Temple.

Nate Miller tied his career high with 21 points for Bowling Green (3-2). Miller was 9-of-14 from the field and also added seven rebounds and a game-high three steals. Marc Larson added 11 for the Falcons.
