AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. (AP)—Andrew Henke scored 15 points and Keith Maren had a career-high 14 points to lead Air Force team to a 73-49 victory over Western State Wednesday night.

Henke, 6-for-8 from the field in tying his season-high score, hit a pair of three-pointers, helping the Falcons jump to an early lead of 25-9.

Western State, behind two three-pointers by Steve Pennetti and one by Carleton Goggins, cut the lead to 25-18.

But the Falcons went on a 16-8 run and ended the half with a 41-26 lead. They pulled away in the second half, never trailing by fewer than 16 points.

Pennetti led the Mountaineers with a game-high 24 points on 8-of-12 shooting from beyond the arc. He also had five rebounds.

Steven Hudson had nine points, five assists and four steals for Western State.
