Fereti’s 32 points lead St. Bonaventure over Binghamton 97-80

OLEAN, N.Y. (AP)—Zarryon Fereti led all scorers with a career-high 32 points, helping St. Bonaventure to a 97-80 victory over Binghamton Monday.

Fereti shot 9-of-12 from the field and 4-of-5 from beyond the 3-point arc. Michael Lee added a career-high 26 points and had 11 rebounds. Tyler Relph scored 11 points and had six assists for the Bonnies (1-1).

Leading by eight at the half, the Bonnies opened the second half on a 13-3 run to extend their lead to 55-36 with 16:29 to play. St. Bonaventure shot 33-of-38 from the free throw line.

For Binghamton (0-1), Milos Klimovic scored 23 points on 6-of-12 shooting from 3-point range. Richard Forbes added 15 points. Reggie Fuller had 10 points and seven rebounds.

St. Bonaventure next plays against Loyola Marymount Friday as part of the BTI Invitational at New Mexico University. Binghamton heads home to play Quinnipiac Wednesday.
