Old Dominion 62, William & Mary 57

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (AP)—Drew Williamson scored 20 points and Valdas Vasylius had 16 as Old Dominion took a second half lead and held off William and Mary for a 62-57 win on Saturday.

The Monarchs (23-7, 15-3 Colonial Athletic Association) used an 11-2 run at the start of the second half to go up by six.

The Tribe (15-14, 8-10) tied it at 53 with 3:09 remaining. But Old Dominion’s Brandon Johnson came back with a 3-pointer and Vasylius then scored on a layup to put the Monarchs ahead by five.

A pair of free throws by both Vasylius and Brian Henderson kept Old Dominion in the lead in the closing minute.

Johnson added 13 points and eight rebounds for the Monarchs.

Nathan Mann scored 11 points for William and Mary, and Laimis Kisielius had 10.
