Davidson 92, W. Carolina 59
CULLOWHEE, N.C. (AP)—Stephen Curry scored 25 points and Jason Richards had 21 as Davidson beat Western Carolina 92-59 Saturday night in a Southern Conference matchup.
Boris Meno and Thomas Sander each had 14 points for the Wildcats (23-4, 14-1). Meno also had 11 rebounds for Davidson.
The Wildcats led at the half and outscored the Catamounts (10-17, 7-9) 48-32 in the second period, shooting 51.6 percent from the floor and 76.9 percent from the free throw line. Davidson also scored 25 points off of turnovers to 16 for the Catamounts.
Nick Aldridge scored 19 points and had five rebounds for the Catamounts while Brandon Giles scored 10.
