NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP)—Trey Williams scored 16 points and sparked a second-half rally to lead David Lipscomb to a 70-60 win Friday night over city rival Belmont.
Host Lipscomb (15-10, 9-5 Atlantic Sun) went on a 17-1 run in the second half, turning a one-point lead into a 58-41 advantage with 5:05 left. Williams scored seven of the 17 points.

Belmont, which shot just 35 percent, had only one player in double figures, Andy Wicke with 17. The Bruins missed 23 of their first 25 second-half field goals.
The win gave the Bisons a sweep of the teams’ two regular season games. A year ago, Belmont advanced to the NCAA tournament with a win over Lipscomb in the conference tourney championship game.
Lipscomb shot 41.4 percent, and made 17-of-20 free throws.
