Cornell 61, Brown 59
ITHACA, N.Y. (AP)—Andrew Naeve had 11 points and 12 rebounds to lead Cornell in a 61-59 win over Brown Friday.
Ryan Wittman and Louis Dale each contributed 14 points for Cornell (12-9, 5-2 Ivy).
Mark McAndrew had 17 points and 13 rebounds for Brown (7-15, 2-5). Damon Huffman and Marcus Becker each added 11 points for Brown.
McAndrew’s last second shot for Brown from behind the three-point arc missed its mark, sealing the win for Cornell.
A sloppy first half was tied, 25-all, when the two teams exchanged three-point baskets in the final two seconds.
Cornell finished with a 35 percent shooting average and just 4-of-18 point attempts. Brown shot 40 percent from the field.
Cornell outrebounded Brown 44-32.
