Davidson 87, Chattanooga 57
DAVIDSON, N.C. (AP)—Stephen Curry led five Davidson players in double figures with 24 points as the Wildcats defeated Chattanooga 87-57 on Tuesday.
Jason Richards scored 16 points and had eight assists, and Thomas Sander chipped in 13 points for Davidson (21-4, 12-1 Southern Conference).
William Archambault and Andrew Lovedale each added 10 points for the Wildcats, who scored 37 points off Chattanooga turnovers and coasted to a 43-23 lead at halftime.
Chattanooga (10-15, 3-10) led only at the very start of the game and attempted just 11 field goals in the first half.
Davidson led by as many as 40 points during the second half before Chattanooga closed the gap to end the game with a 30-point deficit.
Keddric Mays led the Mocs with 13 points, followed by Ricky Hood with 12.
