Albany 65, Binghamton 62

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP)—Jamar Wilson scored 16 points and John Iati added 14 off the bench as Albany held off Binghamton 65-62 on Saturday night in the America East Conference.

Binghamton (10-13, 3-8) took the lead 44-39 with a seven-point run midway through the second half, sparked by Lazar Trifunovic’s jump hook and bank shot. He finished with 22 points, six rebounds and five assists.

Albany (16-7, 9-2) replied with a run to go ahead for good. Iati scored a 3-pointer, Brent Wilson finished a fastbreak following a steal, and Wilson hit a 3-pointer to put the Danes ahead 51-46. Wilson finished with 12 points and eight rebounds, and Jason Siggers had 11 points.

Mike Gordon had 15 points, five assists and three steals for Binghamton. Steve Proctor scored 12 points.
