CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP)—Gerad Punch scored 14 points to lead a balanced attack as Furman beat Chattanooga 68-61 Monday night.

The Paladins (11-11, 5-6 Southern Conference) broke a six-game road losing streak by shooting 56.8 percent from the floor.

Punch was 6-of-7 from the field and chipped in with a game-high four steals and four rebounds.

The Paladins’ Moussa Diagne scored 13, Robby Bostain scored 10 and had a team-high five rebounds, and Eric Webb added 10 points.

Chattanooga (9-14, 2-9) had just one player in double figures, Keddric Mays with 21 on 8-of-11 shooting.

The Mocs, who trailed 40-31 at halftime, shot 48.9 percent from the field.

Furman made 9-of-20 3-pointers while Chattanooga hit 5-of-16.
