PRINCESS ANNE, Md.—Tywain McKee scored a game-high 23 points, and Coppin State defeated Maryland-Eastern Shore 64-57 Monday night.

The lead changed hands eight times during the game, with the UMES able to tie just one in the first half. Coppin (6-15, 4-5 MEAC) went on an 11-five run over six minutes in the second half, and their lead grew to nine with Antwan Harrison landed a pair of three throws.

Harrison contributed 17 points and McKee grabbed a game-high nine rebounds.

Ed Tyson scored a team-high 19 points for UMES (3-18, 0-9). B.J. Nimocks grabbed a team-high seven rebounds.
