LEWISBURG, Pa. (AP)—Donald Brown scored 12 points and Abe Badmus added 11 as Bucknell defeated Army 74-48 on Saturday.
The Bison (12-8, 6-1 Patriot League) jumped to an early 18-4 lead after Badmus connected on his first of three first-half treys to give the Bison the lead for good at 3-2. Bucknell connected on a season-high 56-percent from behind the 3-point line.
Badmus later connected on back-to-back 3-pointers at the 9:07 mark of the first half to give the Bison a 24-6 lead. Bucknell had a 43-15 lead at the half, the second-lowest point total ever given up by a Bison team at home.
Tyrell Brown had 14 points to lead Army (13-9, 3-4), which connected on just 34 percent of attempts for the game. The Bison scored 23 points off 19 turnovers by Army, which has not won at Bucknell since the 1996-97 season.
Bucknell was without head coach Pat Flannery, who attended a relative’s funeral earlier in the day.
