Kennesaw St. 77, Gardner-Webb 60

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. (AP)—Golden Ingle scored 14 points to lead Kennesaw State past Gardner-Webb 77-60 on Wednesday night.

Brent Ragsdale added 11 points and Ronell Wooten finished with 10 for the Owls (6-12, 2-4 Atlantic Sun Conference), who led 43-29 at halftime. Kennesaw converted 19 Bulldog turnovers into 23 points, and pulled down 16 offensive rebounds for 16 second-chance points.

Gardner-Webb (3-12, 1-3 ASC) opened the second half with an 8-0 run and narrowed the gap to 50-46 when Jake Sims sank a 3-pointer with 12:52 remaining. The Owls answered with a 16-5 run midway through the half to take control of the game.

Thomas Sanders finished with a game-high 18 points for Gardner-Webb, which lost its second straight at home in league play. Jake Sims scored 13 points, Matt French added 11 points and eight rebounds, and Chris Gash finished with 10 points for the Bulldogs.
