Delaware State 65, Buffalo 62
AMHERST, N.Y. (AP)—Jahsha Bluntt scored a game-high 24 points to lead Delaware State in a 65-62 win over Buffalo Thursday.
Bluntt went 8-of-11 from the field, 4-for-4 from the foul line and sunk a critical pair of free throws with just 6.1 seconds left as Delaware State (3-8) snapped a four game losing streak.
The Hornets led by as many as 17 in the second half, but Buffalo’s (7-5) Andy Robinson led a late charge, scoring 6 of his 16 points in the game’s final two minutes.
Calvin Bett’s layup with 29 seconds left cut Buffalo’s deficit to 61-59, but Bluntt and Darrin Shine (15 points) hit four consecutive free throws to seal the win.
Parnell Smith led the Bulls with 19 points and 5 rebounds.
The Hornets opened the second half with a 10-point run after taking a 25-19 lead at halftime.

Buffalo turnovers lead to 26 points. Buffalo connected on just 18-of-42 from the field (42.9 percent).
