It was the seventh game in 10 outings in which West Virginia has made more than 10 3-pointers. The Mountaineers went 11 of 31 from behind the arc, with Young making four of those. He has 26 3-pointers in the last four games.
West Virginia was never challenged. The Citadel (2-10) was held to one field goal over a seven-minute stretch and trailed 27-11 with 4:30 left in the first half. West Virginia led 38-16 at the break.
