EDINBURG, Texas (AP)—Colin Lien hit a jumper with four seconds left Monday night to give Texas-Pan American a 46-44 victory over Stephen F. Austin.
Lien led Texas-Pan American with 13 points, nine in the second half. Zach Trader came off the bench to score 12 points, six on free throws in the second half, as the Broncs broke a four-game losing streak.
Texas-Pan American (6-5) held Stephen F. Austin scoreless over the final 3:02.
Matt Kingsley led Stephen F. Austin (5-5) with 19 points and was the only player in double figures.
The Lumberjacks led 21-16 at the half.
The teams fought back and forth throughout the second half with neither team able to get a run going.
