TULSA, Okla. (AP)—Rod Earls scored 13 points and Tulsa overcame an inefficient outside shooting performance to beat Prairie View A&M 83-54 on Saturday.

Walls and Charles Ramsdell had 10 points each for the Golden Hurricane.
Jared Ellison had 12 points for Prairie View A&M, which has played all but one of its games on the road or in tournaments.
The Golden Hurricane led 33-25 after a sluggish first half, then scored the first 12 points of the second half. Tulsa held A&M scoreless until a free throw by Derek Johnson with 13:36 remaining.
