Lipscomb 75, Nicholls St. 55
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP)—Brian Fisk scored 19 points and the bench helped Lipscomb pull away in the second half to beat Nicholls State 75-55 Thursday.
Fisk was 7-of-9 from the floor, including 3-of-4 from 3-point range, and was 2-of-2 from the free throw line.
Lipscomb (7-3) also got 11 points from Michael Lusk and 10 points each from Devon Seaford and Michael Teller, both reserves. The Bisons’ bench scored 30 points compared to 8 for Nicholls.
Nicholls State (1-11), which shot just 33.9 percent from the field, was led by Stefan Blaszczynski with 14 points and Adonis Gray with 12.
Lipscomb, which hit 44.8 percent from the floor, led 33-26 at halftime after trailing part of the first half.
