Va. Commonwealth 75, Albany 57
ALBANY, N.Y. (AP)—B.A. Walker scored 25 points to lead Virginia Commonwealth in a 75-57 win over Albany Wednesday.
Albany (2-1) led by as much as 10 points in the first half, and were ahead 26-18 when Jamar Wilson converted a left-handed drive. Virginia Commonwealth (6-2) followed up with two separate runs to seal the win.
The Rams had a 31-28 lead at the half.
Virginia Commonwealth maintained a 37-31 advantage early in the second half, but seized control with a 17-3 run.
The Rams outrebounded Albany 39-26.
Jamar Wilson finished with 14 points and Jason Siggers added 13 points and 10 rebounds for Albany.
