Hartford 63, Cornell 61
ITHACA, N.Y. (AP)—Joe Zeglinski had 18 points to lead Hartford in a 63-61 win over Cornell Tuesday night.
Hartford erased a 10-point deficit in the final 3:24 for the come back.
Bo Taylor, who scored 15 for Hartford, started the rally with a pair of free throws.
After Hartford (2-3) forced a Cornell (3-3) turnover, Rich Baker scored a three-pointer to cut the deficit in half.
Hartford took its first lead of the second half with 49 seconds to play when Taylor scored to go up 62-60.
The first half was close, featuring nine ties and five lead changes.
Ryan Wittman led Cornell with 22 points. Louis Dale contributed 15.
Cornell finished with a 46.8 percent shooting average from the floor. Hartford shot 39.1 percent.
