MOSCOW, Idaho (AP)Ted Morris scored 18 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to lead Montana State to a 72-65 win over Idaho on Sunday night.

Branden Johnson added 12 points and Carlos Taylor scored 11 for Montana State (1-3). Keoni Watson led Idaho (1-2) with a career-high 30 points.

The Bobcats fell behind 5-0, then ran off 13 unanswered points to take the lead for good. Idaho pulled within four in the final minute, but Mario Mackey missed a pair of free throws with 41.2 seconds to go, and Montana State’s Nick Dissly and Casey Durham both hit a pair of free throws to push the Bobcats ahead 71-63.

Watson, who leads Idaho with 20.7 points per game, topped his previous career high of four 3-pointers by sinking his first five 3-point attempts Sunday. He missed his other four 3-point tries.

The Bobcats shot 44 percent from the field, including 33 percent on 3-pointers, and 71 percent at the free-throw line. MSU came into the game shooting 31 percent from the field, 24 percent on 3s and 58 percent at the line while scoring just 49 points per game.

Johnson went 4 for 5 from beyond the arc, including two 3-pointers in the final 5:16 after Idaho had pulled within five.
