FULLERTON, Calif. (AP)—Bobby Brown had 25 points and a season-high nine assists to lead Cal State Fullerton to an 89-63 victory over Eastern Washington on Saturday.

Jamaal Brown and Frank Robinson added 16 points apiece for the Titans (12-11), who shot a season-best 58.6 percent.

Rodney Stuckey, the nation’s leading freshman scorer, had 19 points, a season-high nine rebounds and six assists for the Eagles (12-13), whose four-game winning streak ended.

Fullerton used a 15-0 surge to build a 25-9 lead with 8:38 left in the first half. Eastern Washington narrowed its deficit to 32-23 but the Titans responded with an 11-0 run that extended their lead to 43-23 with 2:28 before halftime.

Fullerton shot 65.5 percent in the first half and led by as many as 28 points in the second half.
