Bucknell 67, Army 54
WEST POINT, N.Y. (AP)—Charles Lee scored 19 points to lead Bucknell to a 67-54 win over Army on Wednesday night.
Chris McNaughton and Abe Badmus had 10 points apiece for the Bison (17-3, 8-0 Patriot League), who beat Army for the 10th straight time.
Jarell Brown led the Black Knights (5-15, 1-7) with 25 points on 4-for-7 3-point shooting. Corban Bates added 10 points.
With the game tied at 43 with 11:25 left, Bucknell outscored Army 14-4 to take a 10-point lead with 4:45 to go.
A 3-pointer by Brown and a drive down the lane by Dan Borcherdt pulled the Black Knights within five points, but they could get no closer.
Army, which shot 51 percent from the field for the game, raced out to a 19-9 lead as the Bison connected on just four of their first 16 shots. But Bucknell used a 21-7 run to build a 30-26 halftime lead. After a sluggish start, the Bison shot 61 percent in the second half.
