Wright St. 64, Youngstown St. 60
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (AP)—Drew Burleson had 15 points to lead five players in double digits as Wright State beat Youngstown State 64-60 on Thursday night.
The lead changed hands nine times in the first half, but the Raiders (8-6, 4-0 Horizon League) ended the half up 35-33 and led the rest of the game.
Four straight free throws gave the Raiders a 64-56 lead—their largest of the game—with 28 seconds left.
DaShaun Wood scored 12 points for the Raiders. Jordan Pleiman and Walter Chancellor each added 11, and Everett Spencer scored 10 off the bench.
Keston Roberts scored 28 points for the Penguins (5-10, 2-3), and Humphrey Quin had 14 points and 10 rebounds.
The Raiders got 21 points from their bench and held the Penguins to 40 percent shooting.
