JACKSONVILLE, Ala. (A)—Milone Clark scored and game-high 21 points and had eight rebounds to lead Tennessee Tech to a 79-67 victory over Jacksonville State on Thursday night.

Jacksonville State (5-8, 3-4 Ohio Valley Conference) jumped on the board early, taking a seven-point lead twice in the first half, but Tennessee Tech (10-5, 5-2 OVC) answered each time and took the lead with 2:50 left in the half.

The Golden Eagles took control in the second half, leading by as many as 14 points and never trailing the rest of the game.

Derek Stribling had 17 points for Tech while Anthony Fisher added 14.

Jacksonville State shot 71.4 percent from the free throw line and three Gamecocks scored in double figures.

B.J. Spencer and Dorien Brown both scored 16 points for Jacksonville State, while Courtney Bradley added 14.
