Minnesota 67, Oral Roberts 54
MINNEAPOLIS (AP)—Maurice Hargrow scored 23 points to lead Minnesota to its seventh straight victory, 67-54 over Oral Roberts on Saturday.
Vincent Grier added 16 points and a career-high seven steals for Minnesota (9-2), while Dan Coleman had 15 points.
Caleb Green had 24 points and 15 rebounds for the Golden Eagles (5-7), who have lost three straight and five of six. Ken Tutt, who came in averaging 16.3 points, was held to six on 2-for-15 shooting.
A leaner by Adam Boone put Minnesota up 38-26 early in the second half. An inside basket by Green after a pass from Jonathan Bluitt got Oral Roberts within four points midway through the half, but Grier and Spencer Tollackson answered with jumpers for Minnesota.
Green scored in the paint to make it 52-46 with 5:46 remaining, but two 3-pointers from Hargrow and two free throws from Boone and Tollackson, offset a layup by Bluitt and put Minnesota up by 14 less than 3 minutes later.
