JACKSONVILLE, Ala. (AP)—Issian Redding scored 16 points and five others reached double figures, leading Murray State to a 91-72 victory over Jacksonville State on Monday night.
The Racers (5-2) are undefeated in the Ohio Valley Conference with a three-game winning streak.
Trey Pearson and Darnell Hopkins each scored 13 points and Charles Johnson added 12. Shawn Witherspoon had a double-double with 11 points and 10 boards and Pearson Griffith also finished with 11 points.
Johnson hit all four of his 3-point attempts and Griffith was perfect on his three shots from behind the arc.
Murray State held the Gamecocks (4-4, 2-1) to 45.6 percent shooting, while hitting 55.7 percent of their shots.
Walker Russell led Jacksonville State with 16 points and B.J. Spencer added 11.
Murray State held a 42-36 halftime lead.
