NACOGDOCHES, Texas (AP)—Marcus Clark scored 25 points and had five steals Monday night to lead Stephen F. Austin to a 75-57 victory over Alcorn State.
Clark shot 8-of-10 from the field and 8-of-9 from the free throw line. He also had three assists.
The Lumberjacks (4-2) jumped out to a 44-17 halftime lead, shooting 55 percent from the field to 28 percent for Alcorn State (0-5), which hit only 5 of its 18 first-half shots.
Clifton Douglass came off the bench to lead Alcorn State with 12 points, all on 3-pointers.
Antuane Miller had 12 points and Josh Alexander added 10 for Stephen F. Austin. Delvin Thompson scored 11 for Alcorn State and Almaad Jackson had 10 points and three blocked shots.
