Towson 86, James Madison 69
TOWSON, Md. (AP)—Jonathan Pease came off the bench to score a team-high 17 points to lead Towson to a 86-69 victory over James Madison Wednesday night.
Pease hit four of five three-point attempts and was one of four Towson (5-11, 2-4 CAA) players to score in double figures.
There were 54 personal fouls, two technical fouls and 82 free throws in the game. The Tigers made 30 of 41 free throw attempts.
Ray Barbosa scored a game-high 20 points for Madison (3-11, 1-5). Jomo Belfor made 13 of 18 free throws, and Gabriel Chami contributed 17 points and shot 13 for 16 from the foul line.
