S. Illinois 67, Bradley 59
CARBONDALE, Ill. (AP)—Joshua Warren scored 18 points and pulled down 13 rebounds to lead Southern Illinois to a 67-59 victory over Bradley in Missouri Valley action Wednesday night.
Bradley (10-5, 3-4 Missouri Valley) outshot the Salukis from the field during the game but Southern Illinois snagged the win thanks in part to 15-of-15 free throw shooting in the second half.
The Salukis (15-3, 6-0 Missouri Valley) staged a balanced offensive attack, with four players scoring in double digits. In addition to Warren’s 18 points, Tony Young scored 15 and both LaMar Owen and Darren Brooks each added 10.
Marcellus Sommerville led the Braves in scoring with 16, which included sinking 3-of-4 3-pointers. Jeremy Crouch added 13 points and Daniel Ruffin had 10.
