Old Dominion 65, Towson 56
TOWSON, Md. (AP)—Arnaud Dahi had 20 points and eight rebounds, and Old Dominion went on a 9-0 run to close out a 65-56 victory over Towson on Wednesday.
Kiah Thomas added 15 points for the Monarchs (14-2, 4-0 Colonial Athletic Association), who won their third straight and 10th of 11.
The Tigers (4-10, 1-3) trailed by 12 at halftime, but came back to take a 54-51 lead with 5:15 remaining. Mike Green hit a jumper to tie the game at 56 with 3:28 left, but ODU held Towson scoreless for the rest of the game. The Tigers missed their final nine shots.
The Monarchs blocked eight shots, forced 15 turnovers and held the Tigers to 35.1 percent shooting.
Jonathan Pease led Towson with 16 points, 14 of them in the second half. Cantrell Fletcher scored 15, and Mike Green had 10 points and nine assists. Holden Plack had a game-high 11 rebounds.
