Princeton 70, Davidson 68
PRINCETON, N.J. (AP)—Judson Wallace scored seven points in the second overtime and grabbed 14 rebounds as Princeton edged Davidson 70-68 on Sunday.
Wallace, who had a game-high 22 points and was 15-of-17 from the foul line, hit his final two free throws with 11.3 seconds left to put Princeton up 69-66. Davidson’s Kenny Grant then hit two free throws with 7.7 seconds left, but Davidson’s last hope ended when the Tigers’ Andre Logan stole a crosscourt pass.
Princeton (8-4) had a rough shooting day, hitting only 40 percent from the field and going more than 13 minutes without a field goal in the first half. They also had chances to win the game at the end of regulation and the end of the first overtime, but Scott Greenman missed shots both times.
Grant lead Davidson (5-7) with 19 points, including a 3-point play that tied the score at 49 with 10 seconds left in regulation. Brendan Winters added 12 for the Wildcats.
