DAYTON, Ohio (AP)—Drew Burleson had 15 points, Everett Spencer scored 13 and Wright State shot 60 percent from the field in beating Morgan State 70-52 Thursday night.
Zakee Boyd added 11 points and Jaron Taylor scored all of his eight points in the final six minutes of the first half, when the Raiders (6-6) nearly tripled their lead.
Sam Brand was the only Morgan State player to finish in double figures with 14 points. The Bears (3-8) shot only 37 percent, including 12-for-37 on attempts inside the 3-point line.
The Raiders outscored the Bears 22-7 over the final 5:56 of the first half, turning an eight-point lead into a 23-point advantage.
Taylor made two 3-pointers and then dunked three seconds before halftime, putting Wright State ahead 45-22 at the break. The Raiders led by as many as 26 points in the second half.
