Princeton 56, Monmouth 52
WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. (AP)—Judson Wallace scored a season-high 23 points and Princeton was a school-record 18-for-18 from the foul line in taking a 56-52 victory over Monmouth Sunday.
Princeton (5-2) won its fourth straight, snapped a 15-game home winning streak by Monmouth (1-6) and handed the Hawks their fourth straight loss.
In becoming the 14th Division I-A program to win 1,500 games, Princeton set the school mark for the most free throws made in a game without a miss, breaking the 1997 mark of 15 against Harvard. Wallace set an individual record, going 13-for-13.
Blake Hamilton had 21 for Monmouth, including 13 from the foul line. Dejan Delic had 11 points, all in the second half, and shot Monmouth back into it by making three straight 3-pointers.
