NORMAL, Ala. (AP)—Terry Horton scored 21 points and had 10 rebounds to help Alabama A&M post a 73-67 victory over Jackson State on Thursday.

Alabama A&M (11-15, 9-8 Southwestern Athletic Conference) shot 73 percent from the free throw line and 48 percent from the field.

Jackson State (11-15, 9-8) lead just once in the game and trailed 39-34 at the half.

Ishmael Joyce led the Tigers with 16 points and had three assists. Dakari Wallace and Darius Parker and followed with 13 and 10 points respectively.

The Tigers shot 38 percent from the field and went 5-for-21 from the 3-point line.
