DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP)—Anis Taylor scored 16 points off the bench to lead Bethune-Cookman to a 61-51 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference victory over North Carolina A&T Monday night.

Bethune-Cookman (7-20, 5-11) won for just the third time in its last nine games. The Aggies (3-23, 3-14) suffered their fifth loss in six games.

Taylor led three Bethune-Cookman Wildcats reserves who scored in double figures. Backup forward Michael Williams II had 12 points off and forward Diondre Larmond added 10 points and seven rebounds off the bench.

Freshman guard Sean Booker had 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Aggies.

The Wildcats trailed by six points, 39-33, with 15:47 to play before going on a 17-1 run. Five Wildcats scored during the run in which Taylor’s 3-point basket gave Bethune-Cookman the lead.
