Manhattan 65, Niagara 62

NEW YORK (AP)—Luis Flores scored 32 points to lead Manhattan to a 65-62 victory over Niagara on Friday night.

Flores, who shot 4-for-7 from beyond the arc, hit a 3-pointer with 1:58 remaining to give Manhattan (14-4, 9-1 MAAC) a 61-60 lead, its first of the game.

Flores then made two free throws with 2 seconds left to make it 65-62. David Brooks missed a 3 for Niagara (12-6, 6-3) as time expired.

James Reaves scored 17 points to lead four Niagara players in double figures. Tremmell Darden and Juan Mendez scored 12 apiece for the Purple Eagles, and Brooks added 10.

Dave Holmes had 15 points and seven rebounds for the Jaspers.
